1. eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 (eFootball PES 2021) is the Season Update version to eFootball PES 2020 that is developed and published by Konami.
2. It is the 20th instalment of the PES series and will be released on Xbox One, PS4 and Steam worldwide on 15 September, and 17 September in Japan.
3. Due to the anticipated release of "next-gen" consoles, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X, Konami announced a "Season Update" version to focus on a full next-gen edition, utilising the Unreal game engine, due to be released in 2021.
4. The Season Update will contain the same gameplay and game modes as the previous edition, but will contain the latest club rosters. There was also no demo release for the game.
